Provide the required engineering services including all deliveries within the time schedule, with the required quality, while ensuring compliance with Bühler related directives and EHS stand‑ards. Managing of all technical interfaces with customer including specifications for sub sup‑plies.
Responsibilities
Is responsible for small projects on all technical belonging related with his specialization, approves deliverables to ensure that design will meet the customer’s expectation
Support Project Managers in more complex overall projects by executing sub-systems
Manage the allocated project in technical belongings to achieve the project goals and objectives
Manage all relevant internal and external interfaces to suppliers, partners and clients
Participate in Project Reviews as support of the Project Manager/ Director if required
Arrange and lead internal and support external reviews
Actively participate in project meetings with cross‑functional team members, suppliers, and/or customers
Support Project Manager to ensure a proper project execution according the Bühler Project Management process and provide technical support to Claim and Deviation Management
Prepare all necessary project execution specification for purchase orders for the responsible scope of work
Resolve questions or problems that occur during the design and manufacturing as well as during installation and commissioning
Track schedules to ensure his parts of the projects are executed completely and on time. Prioritise and manage work hours to support budgeted hours and scheduled due dates for projects. Mitigate in engineering to ensure on time placement of purchase orders without any subsequent deliveries
Is responsible for the assigned budget of his part of the project, including cost and quality of subcontracted design services
Prepares the necessary documentation for the installation process
Tracks any deviation in the scope of work in the Bühler CAQ system
Is able to prepare work packages which can be shifted to other engineering locations
Capture return of experience and best practice, apply lessons learned. Organises and accomplish a debriefing meeting
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical engineering or food science
More than two years of working experience in machine manufacturing and/or food industry
Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company
