A growing healthcare organisation with a strong foundation in the Swiss life sciences sector is launching its first commercial medicinal product portfolio and is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead this exciting initiative.
This is a unique opportunity to shape and implement national sales strategy from the ground up. The company already has deep operational and regulatory experience in Switzerland and is now expanding into product promotion and pharmacy engagement.
You’ll play a key role in driving visibility, market access, and prescriber engagement, working closely with internal stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and distribution partners.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute national sales strategies for medicinal products across Switzerland
Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), pharmacies, and KOLs
Ensure full compliance with Swissmedic guidelines, HMG regulations, and industry codes of conduct
Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform positioning, pricing, and promotional plans
Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and support teams to align commercial goals
Provide accurate forecasting, performance reporting, and business insights
Support pharmacy-level logistics and availability in collaboration with wholesalers
What We’re Looking For
5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales in Switzerland
Experience launching new products in the Swiss market
Proven track record in generics or branded medicines
Trilingual: English, French, and German – all at professional (C1) level
Strong understanding of Swissmedic compliance, promotional codes, and Swiss pharmacy market
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel extensively across Switzerland
