Global Supply Chain Leadership Role
This leadership role will oversee the execution of sales and operations for the global aftermarket business, ensuring timely delivery of parts and services while optimizing inventory across a complex global network.
Main Responsibilities:
* Demand management: Consolidate demand and supply signals to create actionable guidance for factories and distribution centres.
* Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE): Lead weekly S&OE cadence, prioritizing allocations and resolving short-term imbalances.
* Partnerships: Collaborate with regional SIOP and service teams to align demand signals from service organizations, distributors, and e-commerce channels.
* Innovation: Implement demand sensing techniques to capture near-term shifts in demand.
* Tactical planning: Balance service level targets with inventory and cost objectives across global distribution centres.
* Inventory optimization: Drive inventory positioning strategies to improve responsiveness and reduce obsolescence.
* Supply chain risk management: Identify and manage short-term supply constraints, translating them into executable allocation plans.
* Cross-functional collaboration: Work with factories, procurement, and logistics to de-bottleneck critical parts and ensure continuity of supply.
* Business scenario planning: Develop what-if scenarios for major service events, demand surges, or supply disruptions; quantify revenue, margin, and service impacts.
Key Performance Metrics:
* Service performance: On-Time-In-Full (OTIF), fill rate, backorder cycle time.
* Inventory health: Days of stock on hand (DOS), excess and obsolete (E&O) exposure, inventory turns.
* Forecast quality: Near-term accuracy (Mean Absolute Percentage Error/Mean Absolute Deviation), bias, demand latency.
* Cost control: Premium freight, expedite costs, cost-to-serve.
* Decision velocity: Scenario turnaround time, action closure rate.
