Ph3Your Job /h3 pAs part of the European Gas team the Quantitative European Gas Analyst will provide fundamental and statistical analysis of the European gas markets. The candidate would be expected to have a strong quantitative skill set and programming capability in Python. /p h3Our Team /h3 pKST, with offices in Geneva, London and with its head office in the US, is a global commodity trading company participating in nearly all commodity markets but focusing in petroleum and energy. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 pThe Quantitative Gas Analyst will work as part of a team of traders and analysts. /p pSpecific responsibilities include: /p ul liFundamental analytics - lead on gas analysis on the European gas markets with a focus on linking EU market to the wider global LNG complex. /li liMaintain and develop current Supply Demand stack models. /li liProvide analytical insight to developing existing and future strategy development. /li liManage data inputs and sources for gas analysis. /li liMaintain and support fundamental research on the power and gas markets for Koch. /li /ul h3Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of statistical techniques and applications. /li liStrong analytical capabilities and problem‑solving skills. /li liGood knowledge and proven application of weather fundamentals in gas markets. /li liPrevious experience of European Gas market fundamental/statistical/quantitative analysis. /li liProgramming experience in one of the following languages essential (Matlab, R or VBA, Python). /li liBachelor's degree. /li /ul h3What Will Put You Ahead /h3 ul liPro‑active and capable of working independently to achieve project deadlines. /li liEffective communication skills and ability to explain complex quantitative approaches in non‑technical language. /li liHigh level of intellectual curiosity. /li liAbility to work accurately and efficiently. /li /ul pAdditionally, everyone has individual work and personal needs.
