Join our global R&D team as a Principal Engineer in Power Electronics, where you\'ll lead the development of next-generation frequency converters for elevators—driving innovation, efficiency, and compliance in a global R&D environment.
Your impact
* Define system concepts and feasibility for cutting-edge elevator drives
* Develop specs, design rules, and ensure accurate power selection
* Lead control strategies for motors and power line interfaces to optimize ride quality
* Secure compliance with global standards and manage design risks
* Collaborate with cross-functional experts to push technical boundaries
Who You Are
A forward-thinking engineer with deep expertise in power electronics. You thrive on complex challenges, work well across disciplines, and bring a structured, innovative mindset to every project.
What You Bring
* Degree in Electronic Engineering with focus on Power Electronics /Machine Control theory
* Extensive experience in power electronics development, ideally in a highly regulated industry
* Expertise in three-phase machine control, thermal design & lifetime calculation
* Strong understanding of thermal design and lifetime calculation for frequency converters
* Familiarity with frequency converter-related standards and codes
* Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink for system simulation
* Fluency in English, German is a plus
