Our ultimate mission is to provide a frictionless workplace where technology empowers our people to focus on what matters most: improving patient lives.As the Team Lead for RDT Onsite Services in Rotkreuz (Engineering Manager), you will be accountable for the people, budget, and services required to deliver a high-quality offering for our employees. You will focus on developing your team members' capabilities, encouraging them to self-define their career journeys while supporting them by removing roadblocks and setting clear performance goals. By fostering healthy dynamics, a sustainable pace, and the right skill sets, you will oversee a team of individual contributors to lead software and service delivery, manage stakeholders, and create efficiencies in collaboration to ensure onsite service excellence, infrastructure stability, and an optimal user experience.### The Opportunity* **Team Development & Culture:** Proactively identify future-focused capabilities, oversee technical and soft skill development (including emotional intelligence), and mentor team members on their career paths while fostering a culture of radical candor, accountability, and psychological safety.* **Health, Sustainability & Change Leadership:** Establish team health metrics, design initiatives to improve collaboration, resolve complex systemic impediments, and guide distributed, multi-time-zone teams through organizational shifts, site transitions, or critical system failures while maintaining morale and operational consistency.* **Product Vision & Service Delivery:** Co-create the long-term technical vision for the product portfolio, ensure successful delivery and feature shipment, manage technical priorities and dependencies, and ensure deliverables align with both local business needs and global standards.* **Performance & Process Optimization:** Define success metrics, lead significant process re-engineering efforts spanning multiple development teams to create step-change improvements, and present technical insights and optimization strategies to senior leadership.* **Financial & Resource Management:** Manage the team's budget, headcount planning, operational costs (OPEX), infrastructure upgrades (CAPEX), and vendor contracts to ensure maximum ROI, while supporting business cases for large initiatives and optimizing resource allocation across projects.* **Stakeholder Management & Influence:** Manage relationships with senior-level stakeholders, translate complex IT requirements into business value for site heads, negotiate priorities, and tactically shield the team from scope creep while breaking down organizational silos.* **Cross-Functional Enablement:** Empower teams to act autonomously, drive initiatives to improve engineering processes, manage the talent pipeline for future needs, and resolve cross-functional roadblocks blocking agile release trains or program teams.### Who You Are* **Experienced Leader:** You bring 10+ years of experience in people leadership, product/service management, or program management, a proven track record of building high-performing teams, and 2+ years in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industry.* **Educated Professional:** You hold a Bachelor's or advanced degree with a specification in Business or IT.* **Technical & Strategic Expert:** You deeply understand software development, service delivery methodologies, and solution/information/process architecture, while maintaining a keen IT market focus and a strong passion for innovation.* **Agile & Enterprise Mindset:** You exhibit a lean and agile mindset, an enterprise approach that focuses on delivery through collaboration, the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage risks progressively, and the resilience to remain calm under fire during high-pressure situations.* **Servant Communicator:** You demonstrate servant and creative leadership (VACC), executive presence, intellectual curiosity, and integrity, with a strong ability to create clarity about outcomes, empower individuals, and translate technical needs into business value.### Who we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
