Your role with us
VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Statutory Senior Analyst Record to Report to join our Accounting team based in Stabio Switzerland.
As a Statutory Senior Analyst, your responsibility lies in ensuring the accuracy and timely execution of activities assigned within the RTR team. This involves verifying data accuracy and ensuring compliance with Local GAAP accounting standards.
The role supports period‑end close, General Ledger accuracy, balance sheet integrity and financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and statutory accounting requirements, working closely with the RTR Statutory Manager, internal stakeholders and outsourced service providers.
In particular, the role will support the Statutory Record to Report team and the outsourcing provider with the following activities.
* Support the RTR team for all the statutory work activities for VF organizations, the outsourcing provider and the audit teams.
* Support the preparation and the compliance to local GAAP of the statutory reporting for the main fiscal organizations in EMEA.
* Support the preparation and the compliance to local GAAP of the statutory Swiss GAAP FER Financials, in compliance with Pillar II requirements.
* Support the Global Tax & Treasury team with all the information needed to prepare tax calculations.
* Monitor the year‑closing calendar for all the EMEA countries to ensure that statutory deadlines for filing statutory financial statement and tax declarations are respected.
* Work closely with the RTR team to ensure alignment between US GAAP and local statutory accounting.
Skills for Success
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Educational Background: master’s degree in accounting.
* Professional Experience: At least 2‑4 years of experience in Record To Report Processes (GL accounting) or experience in public accounting. Experience in an international setting is preferred.
* Financial Statement.
* Accounting Fundamentals (Local GAAP and US GAAP).
* Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken).
* Teamwork and Diversity: Enthusiastic about working and socializing in a diverse, inclusive, and multicultural environment.
* Personal Attributes: Proactive, meticulous, and reliable with a positive mindset and a keen desire to learn and grow professionally.
