Senior Financial Controller Fund Investments
Aufgaben
* Carry out financial analysis and prepare financial reports for fund management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Manage budgets, conduct financial research, perform in-depth investigations, analyze complex scenarios, create meaningful financial reports, comply with internal controls, and ensure transparency and accuracy to support decision‑making.
* Collaborate with executive leadership and accounting teams to drive financial planning and support strategic business initiatives.
* Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by aligning financial targets with strategic objectives.
* Review fund business processes by comparing contractually agreed management fees with assets under management (AuM).
* Optimize departmental processes and tools through automation and implementation of AI‑powered solutions.
* Undertake ad hoc projects.
Qualifikation
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance or Accounting.
* Professional experience in a bank’s Asset Management department, at a fund management firm, or in auditing or financial consulting at a Big Four firm.
* Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
* Team orientation with the ability to work both in the office and from home, setting priorities, coordinating tasks effectively, and meeting deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with teams and executives.
* IT skills and confidence in using accounting software and tools.
* Proficient in German and English.
