Aufgaben
Responsible for overseeing financial accounting, internal controls, and reporting based on regulatory requirements for the bank’s Swiss business unit / Responsible for overseeing all financial processes, including timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAPs, reconciliation, and annual financial statements / Control of transactions and reconciliations / Responsible for the further development of risk-oriented internal controls and for managing the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of accounting data throughout its lifecycle to ensure continuity and reliability from creation to archiving or deletion / Responsible for internal and external financial reporting / Providing financial information and analysis with a focus on performance and risks / Point of contact for internal and external audits, coordinating their processes and clarifying their results / Monitoring changes in accounting policies and tax laws relating to the business units / Reviewing and optimizing all financial processes to promote automation, efficiency, and effectiveness / Collaborating with various cross-functional teams and ensuring financial processes and compliance / Ad hoc projects.
Qualifikation
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance / CPA, CA, ACCA / Professional experience in the accounting department of a bank, as a financial advisor in a bank or bank auditor in a Big Four company / In-depth knowledge of financial statements, regulatory reporting and accounting standards, e.g., IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER / Knowledge of the regulatory requirements of the SNB and FINMA / In-depth financial experience with balance sheets and income statements / Analytical and conscientious personality with attention to detail / Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously / Ability to work efficiently with accounting data while maintaining attention to detail / Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines / Strong social and communication skills in a multicultural environment / IT skills with standard applications (e.g., SAP, Avaloq) and experience with Power BI, VBA, Python / Confident use of MS Office, including Excel / Written and spoken German and English.
