As a Senior Financial Controller (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the financial management of our company, focusing on cost transparency and performance in production and logistics.
Your main responsibilities include:
Financial Planning & Budgeting
Prepare, monitor, and adjust project budgets and forecasts in alignment with project leads.
Project Controlling & Reporting
Track costs, milestones, and timelines; perform variance analyses; prepare transparent management reports.
Business Case & Investment Analysis
Support project initiation with financial models, NPV/IRR calculations, and scenario analyses.
Percentage of Completion (PoC) Evaluation
Apply PoC method for revenue and margin recognition.
Determine completion rates based on cost progress or milestones.
Validate PoC results with project management and accounting (IFRS 15 / local GAAP).
Project Support & Steering
Advise project managers on financial implications, KPIs, and resource allocation.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and audit requirements.
Process & Tool Development
Improve controlling methods, reporting tools, and ERP (e.g., SAP) functionalities.
Your profile:
4 - 6 years of experience
Understanding of ERP systems such as AXAPTA or SAP is a plus
Fluent in English and German
Autonomous, a team player, and proactive in finding solutions
