The Trading Finance and Product Risk Controller oversees the finance function within Commercial BA for Swiss, Norwegian and Chinese entities focusing on trading positions, price exposure, and mark‑to‑market analysis and reporting. /p h3What we offer you /h3 pA competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package; /p pA stimulating role with meaningful responsibilities and strong opportunities for professional growth, with exposure across teams and regions; /p pA dynamic and collaborative work environment within a small, diverse and international team; /p pA culture that promotes employee wellbeing and supports ongoing professional development through dedicated initiatives. /p h3What you will be doing /h3 ul liPrepare regular trading position reports including price exposure and mark‑to‑market reporting. /li liPerform and oversee IFRS9 derivative accounting entries for BA Commercial entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. /li liAnalyse the need for fair value accounting in specific trades. /li liPrepare deviation analysis and explanations week‑on‑week. /li liSupport the Finance Manager in financial valuation analysis of investment and commercial proposals. /li liAssist in the establishment of statutory accounts of the HAISA legal entity and in the preparation of HAISA's quarterly Board of Directors meetings. /li liAssist the Commercial Finance team in the monthly and quarterly closing process with tasks according to the checklist. /li liAssist the Finance Manager and Financial Controller with specific tasks such as balance‑sheet reconciliation, ICFR controls and overall HFM and SAP data quality. /li liPerform standard and ad‑hoc financial analysis with focus on realized prices and margins, exposures and deviation analysis. /li liMonitor working capital by analysing variations. /li liCollaborate closely with Alumina and Bauxite Marketing (commercial and supply‑chain analysts) to improve the flow and ensure transactions/contracts are appropriately reflected in CTS (Commodity Trading System). /li /ul h3Qualifications and Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. /li liFinance background in commodity trading and derivative tools. /li liSignificant experience in accounting and financial analysis. /li liSolid accounting and finance knowledge, and experience in derivative financial products and accounting treatment. /li liCompetence with digital applications and solutions (ERP, data analytics Microsoft Office tools including Power BI). /li liFluent in English; French is a plus. /li /ul h3Personal Skills /h3 ul liStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to understand the big picture. /li liDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment with peak workloads. /li liExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across the organization. /li liAbility to build and maintain effective working relationships. /li liFocus on controls, standard routines with a continuous improvement mindset. /li /ul pHydro values diverse skills and perspectives and encourages all qualified candidates to apply.
