SAP IT Supply Chain Lead (MM / SD / EWM) | Solothurn | Hybrid | 80–100%
An internationally operating manufacturing company in a regulated industrial environment is seeking an experienced SAP IT Supply Chain Lead to take ownership of its global IT landscape across logistics and supply chain operations.
This newly created leadership role combines technical SAP expertise, people management and international coordination in a high-impact environment.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead and develop an IT Supply Chain team (approx. 7 FTE) with full people and performance responsibility
* Take technical ownership of SAP MM / SD (ideally EWM) including configuration, enhancements and system improvements
* Ensure stable day-to-day operations of supply chain related applications across multiple international production sites
* Drive system optimization and digital transformation initiatives within logistics, procurement, quality and maintenance
* Act as key interface between IT, operations and senior management
* Coordinate external partners and service providers
* Manage budget planning and cost control within the functional area
* Contribute to strategic roadmap development for global supply chain systems
Your Profile
* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT-enabled supply chain environments
* Proven hands‑on SAP expertise in MM and/or SD (customizing, implementation, rollouts, system ownership)
* Experience leading an IT or SAP team in an industrial or manufacturing setting
* Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes (procurement, logistics, production support, quality)
* Experience in multi‑site, international environments
* Background in regulated industries (e.g., MedTech, Pharma, Medical Devices) is advantageous
* Fluent German and English (C1 level required)
