To achieve this our people are key! /p br/b Responsibilities /bbr/br/liLead projects from an electrical perspective as part of a multi-discipline team /liliAbility to coordinate the electrical design within multi-discipline teams /liliAnalyze complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions /liliProvide support for fee and capital budget proposals as required /liliAssemble and manage bid, approval, and construction issue electrical packages in an efficient and lean manner /liliMonitor electrical engineering staff at junior levels, if required /liliCheck other electrical engineers work for accuracy and quality; undertake peer reviews /liliInteract independently and professionally with clients, vendor’s representatives and project field personnel /liliAttend and participate in client and PM Group meetings /liliDirect and/or participate in project site visits to monitor, review and sign-off electrical installations /liliOther special projects as assigned /li br/b Qualifications /bbr/br/pbYour Profile /b /pliBSc/MSc Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Instrumentation engineering or technical/vocational equivalent /lili5+ years’ experience in delivering Electrical Design Engineering projects in a complex manufacturing facility ideally within a highly automated production environment; Knowledge of Swiss code and safety regulations are very advantageous /liliExperience in Digital Project Execution is an advantage /liliAbility to read, understand and fault-find: Electrical schematics/systems, Instrument Loop Drawings/Panel wiring drawings during FATs or on-site commissioning /liliKnowledge and Experience of Hazardous areas and ATEX requirements would be advantageous /liliDemonstrable experience in the complete suite of electrical engineering design services. This includes (but is not limited to) MV and LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting emergency lighting, small power, voice / data, cable containment, fire alarm, security, lightning protection, earthing bonding, hazardous areas, etc. /liliStrong understanding of the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) would be advantageous /liliExcellent communication organization skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels from project teams to site leadership team /liliStrong computer MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MS Project, Access, etc.) /liliFlexibility for occasional travel /liliProfessional working proficiency in English and German /li
