Our client is a globally active aviation maintenance organization recognized for operational reliability, safety excellence, and a strong customer-oriented approach. To strengthen its maintenance presence in Geneva, our client is looking for an experienced Station Manager to take full responsibility for Line and Light Base Maintenance activities.
Operating from Switzerland with an international network spanning Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East, the organization delivers tailored Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul solutions covering airframe, engines, and components for a diverse airline customer base worldwide.
The Role
This position carries full accountability for the day-to-day performance of a major maintenance station. The Station Manager ensures that all Line and Light Base Maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Your Key Accountabilities
Take ownership of operational performance, ensuring on-time delivery of maintenance activities while meeting safety and quality expectations.
Provide clear leadership to technical and support teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and professional development.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, including EASA Part-145, as well as internal safety and quality standards.
Plan manpower, tools, and facilities in line with operational demand and cost objectives.
Monitor financial performance, control expenditures, and contribute to budget planning.
Act as a key interface for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
Drive efficiency initiatives through structured continuous improvement, LEAN principles, and workplace organization methods.
Candidate Profile
Extensive experience in aircraft maintenance operations, ideally in a station management or senior leadership role.
Proven ability to lead technical teams in a high-pressure, operational environment.
Strong understanding of safety management systems, quality standards, and regulatory frameworks.
Financial awareness with the ability to balance operational performance and cost control.
Customer-driven mindset with a practical, solution-focused approach.
Confident communicator able to interact effectively with teams, customers, and senior management.
Advanced level of French; knowledge of English is beneficial.
