Do you have a Finance / Accounting background and good knowledge of IT tools? If yes, we would love to see your profile as we are looking for our next intern to join our Accounting desk for a 6-month period. TotalEnergies has developed a strong expertise in oil and biofuels, natural gas and electricity trading. Trading entities are based in Geneva, Paris, Houston and Singapore. TotalEnergies installed its European trading hub across in Geneva, which now bring together very large teams around trading activities: TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping (T&S) and TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP). T&S is a trading company in charge of all physical trading and shipping of crude oil and refined products on behalf of the TotalEnergies Company. It has been an active participant all over the supply chain as well as on the derivatives paper market in order to manage the market risk for a long time. TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP) is the trading arm of TotalEnergies in the field of low carbon energies. As such, it operates in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors that require constant adaptation and evolution. Activités
The Trading business is fast-moving, dynamic and complex environment: it is necessary to understand the business and react quickly. As an Accounting Intern, you will report to Financial Control and Accounting Manager. On the Behalf of T&S and TGP, your main responsibilities will be the following:
* Controlling and accounting for invoices and overheads
* Controlling and accounting for expense reports
* Making payments, issuing invoices and expense reports
* Creating counterparts for overheads
* Validate bank details of third party overheads
* Producing various analysis reports
Profil du candidat
* You are pursuing a Master Degree in a Business School, in Finance or Accounting, and ideally enrolled in your final year.
* You have excellent English and French verbal and writing skills.
* You have strong analytical skills, a good team spirit, and a great ability to communicate.
* Details orientation, organization and rigour are essential for this position.
* Excellent Knowledge of Excel is mandatory / VBA is a plus.
* A tri-partite internship agreement is mandatory.
