About the Role
I am looking for a skilled System Security Specialist to join a dynamic IT team managing complex infrastructure environments.
In this role, you will ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations of servers, databases, and virtualization platforms, with a strong focus on information security.
Tasks
* Serve as the main link between Cyber Security and IT infrastructure teams
* Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber security risks
* Develop and maintain security guidelines, policies, and technical concepts
* Act as a technical point of contact for information security within platform operations
* Support the implementation and continuous improvement of protective measures across IT systems
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure roles with a focus on cyber security
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft and Linux environments, databases, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Kubernetes, Citrix)
* Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards and risk management
* Familiarity with offensive security practices e.g. security audits, pen testing
* Fluent in German and English
