About the Role
I am looking for a skilled System Security Specialist to join a dynamic IT team managing complex infrastructure environments.
In this role, you will ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations of servers, databases, and virtualization platforms, with a strong focus on information security.
Tasks
Serve as the main link between Cyber Security and IT infrastructure teams
Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber security risks
Develop and maintain security guidelines, policies, and technical concepts
Act as a technical point of contact for information security within platform operations
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of protective measures across IT systems
Requirements
5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure roles with a focus on cyber security
Hands-on experience with Microsoft and Linux environments, databases, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Kubernetes, Citrix)
Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards and risk management
Familiarity with offensive security practices e.g. security audits, pen testing
Fluent in German and English
