We are looking for a Senior Unified Communications Expert to lead the full deployment of a VoIP / UC&C infrastructure built on Cisco and Microsoft Teams technologies.
This is not a maintenance role — you will drive strategic technology choices (Cisco vs. Microsoft telephony), define the digital transformation roadmap, and design a core model deployable across all subsidiaries.
WHAT YOU’LL BUILD
Design and deploy the entire VoIP/UC architecture from the ground up (CUCM, Unity Connection, Expressway, CUBE).
Implement Microsoft Teams Phone System (Direct Routing, Operator Connect, PSTN).
Drive strategic architectural decisions on telephony services (Cisco vs. Microsoft), providing clear recommendations to stakeholders.
Define the digital transformation roadmap to unify enterprise communications and telephony into a single, coherent platform.
Design a replicable core model deployable across all subsidiaries.
Manage associated licensing strategy (Microsoft 365, Cisco, SBC, operators).
Lead the standardization and deployment of meeting rooms (Teams Rooms, video conferencing equipment).
Define SIP design, QoS strategy, and carrier interconnections.
Document, train, and support internal teams.
WHAT YOU BRING
5+ years of experience in VoIP / Unified Communications environments.
Proven technical expertise in PSTN, PBX, Operator Connect, Direct Routing, and DECT.
Expertise in Cisco Collaboration (CUCM, Unity, Expressway, CUBE, Webex Calling).
Strong skills in Microsoft Teams Voice (Phone System, Direct Routing, SBC AudioCodes/Ribbon).
Solid understanding of SIP, RTP/SRTP protocols and QoS principles.
Experience with licensing management (Microsoft 365, Cisco, telephony operators).
Ability to work autonomously on a greenfield project.
Fluent in English and/or French.
NICE TO HAVE
Certifications: CCNP/CCIE Collaboration, MS-700.
Knowledge of the Modern Workplace ecosystem.
Experience in meeting room standardization and deployment (Teams Rooms, AV integration).
