Technical Business Analyst : Finance Systems (ERP and Reporting)
On behalf of a growing software development company, NonStop Consulting AG is looking for a Technical Business Analyst : Finance Systems to support and improve the companys ERP and financial reporting landscape. This is a hands:on, cross:functional role positioned between Finance and IT, with real system ownership and process improvement responsibilities.
This is not a senior leadership role : it is ideal for someone with 2:3 years of relevant experience who wants to grow further in finance systems, ERP optimization, and data integrations.
Key Responsibilities
ERP and Finance Systems
*
Take technical ownership of Microsoft Business Central ERP
*
Analyze and improve finance and accounting processes in the system
*
Support system configuration, enhancements, and workflow automation
*
Maintain system documentation and user guidance
Reporting and Platforms
*
Support financial reporting and BI platforms
*
Ensure data quality and consistency across reporting tools
*
Assist with reporting structures, KPIs, and reporting packages
*
Support monthly and year:end reporting cycles
Data Integration
*
Support interfaces between ERP, CRM, BI, and other finance systems
*
Help define data mappings and validation rules
*
Monitor data flows and investigate inconsistencies
*
Contribute to automation of reconciliation and validation checks
Collaboration and Support
*
Work closely with Finance, IT, and Data teams
*
Translate business needs into technical requirements
*
Support testing, system updates, and improvements
*
Assist with audit and compliance:related system topics
Your Profile
*
2:3 years of experience in a similar role (Technical Business Analyst, ERP Analyst, Finance Systems Analyst or similar)
*
Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central is a strong plus)
*
Good understanding of finance or accounting processes
*
Experience with reporting or BI systems is an advantage
*
Exposure to system integrations and data validation concepts
*
Comfortable working between business and technical stakeholders
*
Structured, solution:oriented, and hands:on working style
*
Strong English and German skills
