Spencer Thomas Group (STG) is currently looking to add to our client's team a payroll analyst to support payroll operations and transformation activities in Switzerland. The analyst will provide hands‑on payroll support while contributing to broader initiatives including payroll migration, compliance audit, process optimization, and time & attendance system implementation.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Switzerland, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Process corporate payroll via ADP Celergo and collaborate with external providers for retail payroll operations.
Support onboarding of employees into payroll following business changes or acquisitions.
Conduct payroll validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution to ensure continuity of operations.
Support payroll migration activities, including validation of configuration, reporting, and payroll calendars.
Assist with transition activities between payroll providers and ensure service continuity.
Perform compliance audits of existing payroll processes and systems, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
Document and optimize payroll processes and support implementation of quality control frameworks.
Support implementation of time and attendance systems, including integration, testing, and user training.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Operations) and external vendors to ensure alignment.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience managing payroll in Switzerland.
Expert understanding of Swiss payroll regulations, employment law, and social security requirements.
Experience with ADP Celergo payroll processing.
Experience supporting payroll system migrations or transformation initiatives.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with time and attendance system implementations.
Experience in payroll process audit and optimization.
Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, reconciliation).
Experience in retail payroll environments or multi‑entity structures.
Additional language skills (German, French, or Italian).
