Overview
As the leader of Indirect Procurement for Europe, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of over $300 million in indirect spend across 10+ manufacturing sites and office locations. This role requires a dynamic and visionary leader to drive value creation, supplier performance, and organizational excellence through a high-performing team and strong stakeholder partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Spend Management: Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for $300M+ in indirect procurement across multiple European sites, ensuring alignment with business objectives and value delivery.
* Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of 15 commodity managers and remote site buyers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with corporate and manufacturing stakeholders to align procurement strategies with operational needs and long-term goals.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage spend analytics and vendor segmentation to identify high-impact opportunities. Develop and implement commodity strategies and sourcing initiatives that drive measurable value.
* Proactive Engagement: Share insights on spend trends, market dynamics, and sourcing opportunities with key stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
* Total Cost of Ownership (TCO): Apply TCO principles to optimize cost, service levels, and supplier performance.
* Project Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of sourcing projects across all categories. Regularly communicate progress and savings opportunities to stakeholders.
* Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate executive-level relationships with critical suppliers. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess performance and identify mutual growth opportunities.
* Performance Oversight: Ensure suppliers meet service and delivery commitments. Act as the escalation point for performance issues and engage vendor leadership as needed.
* Talent Development: Mentor and coach team members to enhance capabilities and build a world-class indirect sourcing organization.
* Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
* 10+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on MRO and Corporate Services preferred
* 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams
* Industry experience in oil, gas, chemicals, or industrial manufacturing strongly preferred
* Experience with major capital projects ($25MM+) is a plus
* Willingness to travel 10–20%, including outside of Europe
