1. Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for our smart devices, including SmartAntenna, Display5, SmartSwitch, and other safety components
2. Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and perception engineers to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs
3. Participate in architecture discussions, low-level design (LLD), and refinement processes, to ensure robust and scalable solutions
4. Investigate and resolve critical issues across firmware and hardware integration layers, including GNSS validation, logging protocols, and debug port handling
5. Support release management and participate in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives as part of our agile development cycle
6. Maintain high standards of code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, test automation, and continuous integration practicess
This is you
7. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
8. 8+ years of experience in embedded software development
9. Experience with embedded operating systems
10. Proficiency in C/C++
11. Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232) and microcontroller platforms (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, etc.)
12. Experience in embedded Linux development (Yocto, OpenWRT)
13. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines
14. Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across disciplines
15. Passion for building high-quality products with measurable impact
16. Committed to clean code and best software development practices
17. Willingness to travel occasionally for customer mine visits or test deployments
