Your tasks
* Participate in the analysis of project needs and contribute to the definition of software requirements, including inputs from Market, Production, and R&D.
* Collaborate with HMI, process control, mechanical, and electrical teams to define specifications for complex PLC and real‑time software components.
* Develop, test, and optimise PLC and real‑time software applications to meet functional and performance requirements.
* Maintain and update technical documentation and software specifications throughout the development lifecycle.
* Support fast prototyping activities and contribute to sprint planning in collaboration with the Software Component Owners.
Your profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
* At least 1 year of experience in PLC and/or real‑time software development (e.g., C, C++, Structured Text).
* Experience with simulation and modelling tools (e.g., Matlab/Simulink).
* Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
* Experience in the machine tools industry and ISO programming is a plus.
* Fluent in Italian. English level B2 or higher.
