Description
The External Relations Marketing Assistant is a key member of the Development team (internally known as the External Relations team) responsible for managing donor data and communications. This role involves leveraging the Salesforce platform to generate strategic data reports, coordinate donor outreach communications, and execute targeted email campaigns that support the organization's fundraising and engagement objectives. This part-time role reports to the Senior Vice President of External Relations.
Requirements
* Pulls requested reports for email campaigns as needed and loads campaigns and email templates.
* Prepares and sends mass emails to donors and/or prospects.
* Prepares portfolio reports as requested by development officers.
* Unsubscribes contacts who wish to be removed from the email or mailing list.
* Reviews list of bounced or undelivered emails and researches correct replacement emails.
* Other related duties, as assigned.
Skills And Experience
* Strong research and analytical skills.
* Self-starting attitude with high attention to detail.
* Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.
* Proficiency in Microsoft products and Google Workspace.
