Job Description
The successful candidate will support the production of RAFS (Rubidium Atomic Frequency Standard) space-grade atomic clocks embedded in Galileo satellites and provide technical support to clients, collaborating closely with other Product Engineers and team members.
Responsibilities
1. During the Offer Phase: Contribute to technical analyses and act as Pilot in the absence of the Senior Product Engineer. Manage client technical relations.
2. In Production: Responsible for defining and managing product documentation and its updates, approve change requests, support manufacturing, troubleshoot technical issues affecting product performance, manage non-conformities, and serve as the technical contact with clients during production and service. Lead technical development projects, define test and qualification plans, and oversee qualification tests.
Qualifications
* Engineer or equivalent with a focus on Electronics, with at least 3 years of industry experience on multi-technology products (hyperfrequency, vacuum techniques, mechatronics, instrumentation).
* Experience in the space sector, ideally familiar with ECSS Engineering standards (ESA).
* Experience in product development or engineering, preferably in Time-Frequency domain.
* Proficiency with CAD tools and electronic simulations.
* Skills and interest in IVV testing (Integration, Verification, Validation).
* Ability to manage client technical relations.
* Rigorous, methodical, structured, pragmatic, with strong synthesis skills, team-oriented, proactive, client-focused, and solution-driven.
* Excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written (project documentation in English).
