Position Summary
Currently seeking a Quality Control & Aftersales Specialist that would be working at our warehouse in Stabio (CH). The successful candidate will be part of the company’s operations, working on the activities related to Quality Control and customer assistance within the process of inbound, outbound and product returns.
Responsibilities
* Conduct quality control (QC) inspections on inbound goods to ensure compliance with standards.
* Prepare and deliver detailed QC reports, communicating results effectively to the Akoni team.
* Manage quality control checks on customer-returned goods, accurately record outcomes in the ERP system, and report to the Customer Service team.
* Support after-sales processes, including product assistance for customers, identification of sparepart requirements, and rework of products as needed.
* Investigate quality issues by collecting evidence on the query and digging deeper into various parts of the supply chain. Report findings and recommend solutions to stakeholders.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service and Operations to improve QC and after-sales processes, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
* Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures, by examining records, reports, operating practices and documentation.
* Manage continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with the product development team throughout the development process to assess and prevent potential defects.
* Proactively suggest quality improvement.
* Manage quality guidelines documents related to the different vendors.
* Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills / Experience
* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the eyewear industry.
* Working knowledge of QC principles, warehouse and reporting systems is valued positively.
* Driven and detail-oriented with a focus on results and solutions.
* Proficient and comfortable working alone or as part of a team.
* Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Must speak English.
* Eyewear industry experience preferred, but open to candidates with non-eyewear related professional work experience.
