The Piedmont Group in Dunwoody is actively interviewing for an experienced Paraplanner to support one of our lead financial advisors. This is a full-time position with a starting in-office requirement, transitioning to a hybrid schedule once fully onboarded. Compensation is $65,000 – $85,000, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

In this role, you’ll work closely with senior advisors to prepare for client meetings, build financial plans, and develop investment and insurance strategies. Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior advisors to prepare high-quality client deliverables and continuously improve internal processes
Draft detailed client meeting agendas, incorporating action items, follow-ups, and forward-looking planning opportunities
Analyze investment portfolios, generate performance reports, and identify rebalancing needs to support portfolio alignment
Review life and disability insurance policies; prepare updated illustrations and ensure coverage remains aligned with client goals
Assist with comprehensive financial planning using eMoney, including retirement projections, cash flow analysis, tax strategies, and education funding plans
Monitor client savings strategies and provide data-driven insights and recommendations
Develop investment proposals and insurance illustrations; model various planning scenarios to support client decision-making
Accurately and compliantly support money movement activities, including transfers, withdrawals, and contributions
Maintain precise and up-to-date records in Wealthbox CRM and financial planning software
Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance the client experience
Provide flexible support to the broader team, stepping in where needed with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
Qualifications What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 3 years of prior experience in financial planning or paraplanning
Working knowledge of investments, insurance, taxes, and estate planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Familiarity with eMoney and Morningstar Workstation strongly preferred
CRM experience, ideally Wealthbox or a similar platform
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness to learn and adopt new technology tools
Compensation $65,000 - $85,000 yearly
