The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven). The role also involves integrating Power Apps with Microsoft services such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Teams, Power BI, and external data sources using Power Automate and connectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with users, product owners, and data engineers to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including applications, dashboards, and interactive reporting tools on key business measures.
* Design and develop Canvas Apps and Model‑Driven Apps using Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend storage model.
* Create custom connectors and leverage Dataverse (CDS) for data modelling and management.
* Translate business data needs into technical requirements and implement them through data visualization.
* Develop, test, and maintain BI dashboards to high standards of quality and performance using approved BI tools such as Power BI, QlikView, Qlik Sense, or Tableau.
* Apply UI/UX best practices to craft visualizations that provide a single, aligned version of truth, present clear business results, and drive action.
* Train junior team members and assist in setting up and implementing best practices to ensure solution quality and consistency.
* Work flexibly on medium to high complexity projects, potentially utilizing multiple BI tools for each solution.
* Provide and maintain user access, report connections, and troubleshoot via management consoles or workspaces.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with Business Intelligence.
* At least 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing BI solutions, preferably with Power BI, QlikView, or Qlik Sense.
* Hybrid work arrangement: amenable to working onsite and remotely as needed.
* Shift schedule: Mid Shift and Night Shift, amenable to the assigned schedule as required.
Minimum Skills to Hire / Technical Skills
* Experience with Power Automate cloud flows, desktop flows, business process flows, and Process Advisor.
* Proficiency with BI technologies such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, and Power BI.
* Relevant experience in data modelling and data model normalization.
* Solid understanding of ETL methodology.
* Strong knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle) and Business Intelligence.
* Understanding of design and development tools, SDLC methodologies, and techniques.
* Curiosity and analytical mindset – ability to ask the right questions and propose data‑driven solutions.
* Experience working in Agile (SCRUM) is an advantage.
