Senior Financial Manager
The role of Senior Financial Manager is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while driving continuous improvements in accounting processes.
This experienced professional will oversee the General Ledger function, lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, manage internal controls, and coordinate external and internal audits.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. They should have strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations, as well as proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Fluency in German and English is required, with French being a plus.
* Oversight of the General Ledger function to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Leadership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process in accordance with OR.
* Management and optimization of internal controls to ensure adherence to regulatory and company policies.
* Coordination of external and internal audits, acting as the primary point of contact.
* Support for tax compliance, including VAT filings and corporate tax requirements.
* Promotion of improvements in financial systems, automation, and reporting processes.
* Provision of financial insights and analysis to senior management.
* Leadership, mentoring, and development of the General Ledger team to enhance operational efficiency.
