As a Senior Specialist - CRM Marketing Manager you will own and shape the email communication with our running community from promoting the most relevant sportswear products to sharing the most exciting athlete news. In short: You are on top of all our running-related newsletters. You shape insights on our target audiences and define the campaign content yourself in collaboration with our cross-functional team. You will manage our email campaigns hands-on from ideation to reporting with the mission to maximize customer lifetime value.
The role is a 6 month fixed term maternity cover position based in Zurich.
Your Mission
* Manage all facets of the email creation process, from concepts to development, testing and email distribution including the coordination of all assets such as text copy, design, imagery, translations in various languages and markets
* Own, entertain and grow our core running target group with engaging storytelling and personalised product recommendations. Be at the forefront and influence the run culture of the future
* Dive deep into user data to create targeting strategies to drive desired behaviour
* Influence segmentation, personalisation as well as the content of future campaigns
* Maintain high levels of data hygiene with fast-growing, high-volume lists, intelligent segmentations and data from multiple sources, including Segment (CDP), Google Analytics and our data warehouse
* Work across functional teams to ensure a coherent customer journey from email to conversion, explore new and alternative channels to reach the customer beyond email (e.g. app push, sms, Whatsapp or Line)
* Apply strong understanding of state-of-the-art email marketing, new tools and software, and thrive to create a best-in-class experience while continuously challenging our status quo
* Analyse, report and continually refine key performance metrics to measure overall CRM effectiveness and database health

* You have 2+ years of experience in email marketing ideally in a direct-to-consumer environment
* You are passionate about the running world, follow athletics news and the latest training trends
* You are an experienced storyteller and know how to capture your audience
* Attention to detail is your mantra and you have a strong design affinity
* You bring a desire to innovate and contribute to the success of On and are comfortable to work in a fast-paced, high performance environment with multiple projects at the same time
* You are a team player that is motivated to work cross-functional with marketing, design, development, data and engineering teams across the globe
* You have experience with email marketing and analytics tools - Braze, Segment, Looker, Amplitude, HTML/CSS are considered a plus
