Job Description
We are looking for a Senior INFORMATICA MDM/RDM Consultant to oversee delivery of the Client’s initial Customer and Geography data domains on the INFORMATICA platform. The consultant will guide the implementation partner, ensure alignment with the Client’s data governance framework, and assume full technical ownership of the MDM/RDM platform after partner transition.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the business‑aligned implementation of INFORMATICA MDM and RDM, translating the Client’s data governance framework into operational master and reference data.
* Define and validate golden records, data models, match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and stewardship workflows in collaboration with business owners and data stewards.
* Own functional and technical design and translate business and governance rules into INFORMATICA configuration.
* Act as technical authority over the implementation partner, reviewing configurations, integrations, and data migration to ensure governance‑aligned delivery.
* Oversee data quality activities (profiling, cleansing, deduplication) and validate match accuracy, merge outcomes, and golden record completeness.
* Configure and enable stewardship workflows, train business and IT users, and support adoption.
* Lead handover and knowledge transfer, ensuring the Client can operate, extend, and onboard new MDM/RDM use cases independently.
Required Qualifications
* 7+ years MDM/RDM experience; of which 3+ years in INFORMATICA MDM/RDM
* Hands‑on INFORMATICA MDM delivery experience
* Experience implementing:
o Match & merge
o Survivorship
o Golden records
o Stewardship workflows
Essential
* Ability to speak business language, not just technical
* Experience defining and implementing MDM
* Experience working with system integrators
