OverviewHead of Sales – Minting at MKS PAMP is a key commercial role responsible for driving business growth, shaping and executing the global sales strategy, and deepening client engagement across one of the company’s most strategic client segments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the profitability, development, and satisfaction of this client segment. This role covers a diverse global base of markets and clients serviced by MKS PAMP SA — including MKS PAMP Group entities, sovereign mints, private mints, financial institutions and precious metals dealers, and aims to expand MKS PAMP SA’s global footprint within the minted products ecosystem. The candidate will deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions across the full suite of Minting products and services and promote cross-selling of non-Minting products and services offered by the Group.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall sales and Custom Minting strategy go-to-market plan for MKS PAMP SA, working closely with the CCO and Global Head of Minting in support of the overall MKS PAMP Group Minting strategyDevelop existing and originate new external client relationships and partnerships across target markets, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and AfricaWork closely with internal Group entities to support sales/products opportunities to be produced at MKS PAMP SAOriginate and execute tailored Custom Minting solutions to target customers, responsible for origination, pricing and contract management within the sales process – acting as the primary sales executive overseeing accountsResponsible for regular P&L and customer performance, and pipeline management reportingBalance growth across the minting value chain while understanding and mitigating sectoral commercial and operational risksKey stakeholder providing input to Global Product Development strategy and planningWork closely with trading, production, operations, compliance, ESG, and finance to deliver seamless solutionsEnsure alignment between production and distribution capabilities and anticipates market and client needsOversee KYC coordination with Compliance and ensure adherence to ethical and operational standardsRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced certifications in sales, marketing, product development, and manufacturing are a plus.Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the minting industry, with a deep understanding of the precious minted bar and coin market, products and manufacturing processes; P&L management experience, with a track record of driving revenue growth, profitability, and managing financial performance.Proven success in key account management, business development, and securing high-value contracts across global markets.Extensive experience in product development, costing, and pricing, particularly in the minting sector, and familiarity with global manufacturing processes and production timelines.Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards for precious metals and minting.Experience coordinating across multiple group entities in a global organization with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics.Qualifications and SkillsDeep knowledge of gold, silver, and platinum markets, as well as end-to-end minting and manufacturing processes for minted products.Proven ability to oversee the creation and production of high-quality minted products, coordinating with global teams to ensure excellence.Demonstrated success leading and motivating regional sales teams, setting performance goals, and driving accountability across markets.Skilled at managing international stakeholders, fostering alignment between cross-functional and multicultural teams, and adapting to regional market dynamics.Adept at interpreting market data and competitive trends to inform strategy and decision-making.Experienced in tailoring business practices to diverse cultural contexts while maintaining a cohesive global approach.Effective in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, maintaining composure and sound judgment under tight deadlines.Strong command of industry regulations, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate operational and market risks.Adaptable, resilient, and strategically minded leader with a track record of inspiring teams, managing complexity, and delivering results across global markets.Full professional proficiency in Microsoft tools is expected.Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English and German is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.International travel is expected.Swiss national, EU national, or holder of a valid Swiss work permit.Seniority levelExecutiveEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales and Business Development
