Senior Director Engineering WE

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Director Engineering WE to lead the engineering Team with End-to-End assets management, Capex & RFA processes, project management in regards to new and disposing old/redundant assets.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develops and implements capital outlay for the region together with the senior management team, drives Capex optimisation. Ensuring the LDPs address company strategy Sail27 is part of the capex plan and execution, COM and Carlsberg Excellence foundations, Decarbonization strategy Commercial/Business needs including product portfolio change, regional assets obsolesce, breweries infrastructure and business continuity, Assets Risk management.
Drives performance gaps closure and continuous improvement of Engineering KPIs through effective use of Carlsberg Excellence Methodologies: Optimise engineering cost and operations, automation & OT (operational technology) practices, review best practice & failures with the objective of constantly moving the improvement of cost and performance
Ensures business driven needs for new materials, technologies and equipment leading to the new products are effectively and efficiently introduced into operations.
Being on the shopfloor ensures and prioritizes personal focus on Gemba Walks, coaching, mentoring and engaging with the shop floor colleagues on a regular base.
Strongly supports capability building of core shop floor teams ensuring transfer of the Early Equipment Management knowledge, problem solving & cost ownership
Supports the development of regional ISC strategy as part of the regional ISC leadership team
Supports, Drives and Deploys Group/Regional EHS strategy within engineering function
Ensures all Carlsberg standard methods, tools and process are implemented in accordance with regional and global agreements
Actively participates as part of the regional and global engineering best practice community
Develops people, local engineering Teams, Regional engineering teams in the area of project management, OT in line with company guidelines, Triple A and Compass - competencies and skills are developed and progressed to an agreed ISC vision
What We’re Looking For
10+ years plus experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
Proven experience in managing budgets, developing people and teams and delivering performance improvements through Carlsberg excellence methodologies
Accountable for End-to-End assets management, Capex & RFA processes, project management in regards to new and disposing old/redundant assets
Accountable for End-to-End asset care processes in the region, automation & OT (operational technology) and infrastructure
Accountable for the annual regional capex budget and manage a system of controls to ensure service levels and operational performance goals are met within the prescribed cost
Accountable for the capability development, process harmonisation and change management to support successful functional integration into the one E2E supply chain
Continuously improving value chain efficiency, product quality and ISC standards (COM compliance, Carlsberg Excellence)
Ensures strong focus on Group and Regional EHS strategy and standards to deliver healthy and safe working environments within the region
Accountable for Loss cost tree and Support VIPEx through assets capabilities

Education:
University degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Automation or Supply Chain Sciences)
Languages:
Fluent in English
