For one of our clients in the Scientific Sector, weare recruiting a Purchasing & Supplier Strategy Manager (100%)based in the canton of Fribourg.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead and developthe regional purchasing team, ensuring efficient sourcingstrategies and operationalperformance.
* Secure supplycontinuity by proactively managing critical situations and ensuringtimely materialavailability.
* Implementinitiatives to optimize purchasing costs and improve materialefficiency.
* Manage andstrengthen supplier partnerships to ensure competitive conditionsand long-termcollaboration.
* Identify andmitigate supply chain risks to safeguardoperations.
* Negotiatesupplier contracts to achieve favorable commercialagreements.
* Monitorprocurement performance through KPIs and take corrective actionswhen required.
* Work closelywith production, quality, finance, and other internal stakeholdersto align purchasing activities with businessobjectives.
* Ensurecompliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
YourProfile:
* Degree in SupplyChain, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degreeor relevant certifications (e.G., CPSM, CIPS) are aplus.
* Proven experience inpurchasing, preferably in direct materials, and ideally in amanufacturingsetting.
* Strong leadership,negotiation, and communicationskills.
* Strategic mindsetwith analytical abilities, able to deliver under tightdeadlines.
* Stronginterpersonal skills and the ability to workcross-functionally.
* Proficiencyin procurement systems and digitaltools.
