Come, be a part of this change.WinGD is looking for a Development Expert CombustionResponsibilitiesDevelop new thermodynamic and combustion concepts for WinGD 2-stroke engines by applying fundamental understanding of engine mixture formation, ignition and combustionUse simulation tools to support technology application and engine testsDesign and integrate combustion system components into enginesDefine engine thermodynamic layout and engine tuning parameters by performing hands-on testing on engines in laboratories and at licensee site world-wideDefine and maintain engine performance data based on simulations and testing resultsSupport customers and licensees with inquiriesRequirementsM.Sc. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with Chemical/Combustion/Thermodynamic backgroundKnow-how related to (2-stroke) engine thermodynamics, combustion and turbochargingExperience with engine combustion system developmentKnowledge of one-dimensional simulation toolsExperience in testing of internal combustion enginesHandling a wide range of tasks in parallelAbility to communicate effectively with both internal & external customersOpen for traveling (mainly Asia)>5 years of relevant experience desirableGood command of English language (written & oral), German appreciatedOur offerAn opportunity to shape the sustainability and environmental impact of the shipping industry.
