Job Description
Reporting to the unit's responsible physician, you are part of the service's management team and work closely with all professionals, as well as with the institutional coordinator of the psychologists' network.
As a psychologist expert, you put your expertise at the service of the team and ensure the transmission of knowledge. You supervise clinical assessments, psychotherapeutic activities, and the continuing education of psychologists. In this capacity, you organize their scheduling, ensure the quality of case follow‑up, compliance with billing procedures, as well as the relevance and accuracy of oral and written communications.
You also assume institutional responsibility for the supervision of pre‑graduate trainee psychologists and post‑graduate trainee psychologists.
You actively contribute to the development and improvement of care programs, as well as to the implementation of evaluation systems within the service.
In collaboration with the service's professionals, you initiate, coordinate, and participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching activities. You lead research projects related to the service's focus areas and support, when applicable, staff mandated for public or private research.
Clinically, you assess the psychological functioning of patients, address their difficulties, and develop appropriate intervention plans. You develop therapeutic and preventive actions promoting proactive care.
Your activity is part of a strong interdisciplinary dynamic: you collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and therapeutic teams and actively participate in interdisciplinary rehabilitation conferences.
Together with your psychologist colleagues, you organize the distribution of therapies and coverage of the different units.
Finally, you initiate and support teaching and research activities consistent with the objectives and interests of the Clinic.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in psychology as well as the federal specialist title in psychotherapy, and you have authorization for AOS billing.
Possession of a doctorate in psychology and academic teaching experience are significant assets. You are also willing to undertake continuing education in management at the CAS level.
You appreciate interprofessional work, value collaboration within a team, and base your practice on the most recent scientific knowledge. You seek a varied, stimulating professional environment that allows for broad autonomy.
You show a strong interest in psychosomatic hospital rehabilitation and wish to actively participate in the development of the psychology service. You have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, especially in brief care for patients with psychosomatic issues.
You communicate clearly and structuredly, and master rigorous documentation of clinical records.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in French is required.
You are proficient with common computer tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and knowledge of HUG applications is a plus.
