CERTIFICATED SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ON-CALL/AS NEEDED
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
Ability and desire to work with students and families from a diverse cultural, social and economic background.
Must be willing to follow lesson plans and maintain classroom order.
Must be willing to use the AESOP substitute system.
Working home or cell phone required.
Internet highly preferred for online AESOP substitute system.
Must be at least twenty-one years of age.
REQUIREMENT FOR EMPLOYMENT
A background check through the FBI and WSP. Toppenish School District require Emergency Substitute Teachers to complete one-day training before being assigned.
RCW 49.58.110 REQUIREMENTS
Hourly Rate: $28.57 per hour
