Job Description: Clinical Supply Chain Manager - GMP vacancy for a globally operating Basel-based company in the Pharma sector.
Your tasks:
Represents GCS as a core member in the integrated Clinical Trial Team (iCTT); defines and advises on the optimal clinical trial supply strategy, including packaging design, technical feasibility, timeline, efficiency, and risk management.
Reviews clinical trial protocols and amendments, providing inputs for packaging and supply design, and visit scheduling.
Creates and maintains accurate clinical supply demand forecasts aligned with protocol requirements, study parameters, patient projections, and overage, using defined processes and systems.
Finalizes packaging design and label strategy for all participating countries in the clinical trial.
Defines clinical supply parameters for NIRT setup and updates throughout the trial.
Develops and executes a trial-level project plan with relevant roles.
Identifies and communicates supply risks, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity.
Collaborates with partners on submission and approval timelines to develop optimal supply strategies.
Generates distribution plans for IMPs, manages shipments from central depot to regional and local depots.
Maintains and executes a resupply strategy to ensure supply continuity and expiry management.
Consolidates and tracks the clinical trial budget concerning external costs.
Contributes actively to the GCS sub-team, ensuring knowledge exchange and preparation for cross-functional teams.
Your experience/knowledge:
Minimum 5 years in clinical supplies within the pharmaceutical industry.
Operational excellence with attention to detail.
Project management, organization, and planning skills.
Broad technical knowledge of supply chain systems, with at least 3 years of SAP experience.
Data and digital literacy with a high learning ability.
Knowledge of regulations such as GMP and HSE.
