Job Description
* Assist in preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
* Prepare journal entries for technical accounting topics such as equity, stock-based compensation, lease accounting, pensions
* Research, evaluate and manage the implementation of new accounting standards
* Serves as a company-wide technical accounting point of contact for ad-hoc questions and initiatives.
* Provide support to the execution of internal/external audit process.
* Provide support in evaluating revenue contracts with customers to ensure compliance with ASC 606
* Responsible for developing policies and procedures to support and enhance the quality of our financial reporting
* Support the timely and accurate filing of local subsidiaries statutory reporting with support of external advisors
The Successful Applicant
* 8-15 years' experience in accounting
* Big 4 audit firm experience mandatory
* CPA or equivalent qualifications preferred
* Experience with a public company with international operations is desired
* Comprehensive and current understanding of US GAAP, including recently issued accounting pronouncements and SEC reporting principles and regulations
* Excellent written communication and presentation skills, including ability to present to senior management
* Analytical skills with high attention to detail
* Hands on attitude
