Role Overview
As a Pre-Sales Consultant in the Capital Markets domain, you’ll act as a strategic bridge between sales and offerings, helping to shape go-to-market plans and design innovative client solutions. You will support the business development lifecycle with compelling pre-sales content, industry insight, and a clear understanding of client needs. Your role is critical in translating offering capabilities into client value propositions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as a key link between the sales team and offering leads
2. Define offering roadmaps and contribute to go-to-market strategy
3. Translate client needs into tailored solutions leveraging Capital Markets offerings
4. Support RFP and proposal processes with high-quality, client-facing materials
5. Deliver client workshops and short consulting engagements during pre-sales
6. Represent DXC in key industry events and forums
7. Build strong relationships with stakeholders at Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks
8. Collaborate across cross-functional teams to align solutions with client goals
Must-Have Requirements
* 7–10+ years in Capital Markets, either in a consulting firm or at multiple financial institutions
* Strategic thinker and hands-on doer
* Proven ability to define value propositions, lead RFPs, and create client-facing material
* Experience working directly with C-level and senior business/IT stakeholders
* Regulatory reporting (e.g., EMIR, MiFID, Basel, DORA)
* Payments and digital assets
* Fluency in English and German
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
* Strong network within the Swiss banking ecosystem
* Knowledge of front-office trading & risk systems (e.g., Murex, Calypso)
* Understanding of post-trade and operations
* Familiarity with market data and cloud architectures
* Exposure to AI/ML in capital markets
* Experience with application management / managed services
* Fluency in French
