Summary
Oversee the execution and delivery of a portfolio of GCO‑supported clinical studies, managing a Study Leadership community and ensuring operational excellence across global, complex studies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a Study Leadership community with people management responsibility.
* Promote operational excellence and knowledge sharing across studies.
* Foster an empowered, psychologically safe organization navigating a matrix environment.
* Oversee resource allocation and execution of a portfolio of diverse studies.
* Lead the Clinical Trial Team (CTT) in collaboration with the Clinical Operations Program Head (COPH) to deliver complex global studies.
* Act as the CTT product co‑owner, delivering the operational strategy.
* Guide planning and decision making at the study level, delivering studies per the Operational Execution Plan (OEP).
* Foster an agile culture within assigned studies to achieve sprint goals and maximize collaboration.
Essential Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or healthcare; advanced degree strongly preferred.
* Fluent in English – oral and written.
* 8+ years of recent involvement in clinical research spanning Phases I‑IV studies of medium to highly complex design.
* 5+ years of recent accomplishment in all aspects of conducting medium to highly complex clinical studies in a global matrix environment.
* 5+ years of recent people management in a complex matrix environment, with virtual team experience.
* Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent communicator and presenter at all levels.
