Job Description: Innovative Medicine Supply Chain Finance is recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Pharmaceuticals Direct Materials Procurement team. The preferred location is Zug, Switzerland, but other J&J locations in EMEA are also considered.
About the Role: The IMSC Source Finance Senior Analyst will own the consolidation and reporting of global third-party spend and PPV. This role partners with Innovative Medicine global procurement to provide financial leadership, including spend optimization, achieving financial targets, and driving the Global Source value creation agenda. It also involves analytical support to deliver insights and build strategic partnerships with Supply Chain teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead big-data analytics to forecast, track, and analyze Purchase Price Variance (PPV) to support procurement, IMPO, and manufacturing site finance teams, including Cost Improvement Projects and market-driven cost fluctuations.
2. Partner strategically with the business through leading Standard Cost Setting, Long Range Financial Planning, Full Year Business Planning, and other forecast cycles.
3. Recommend sourcing solutions to optimize value creation and provide accurate input on COGS and negotiation strategies to position J&J favorably.
4. Support procurement investment and cash flow initiatives by developing financial models and scenarios to inform data-based decisions and assess trade-offs.
5. Serve as a leader and change agent in SigniFi workflows and adoption.
6. Ensure compliance with PPV, Cost Improvement Projects, accounting, and business policies.
Qualifications:
* A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; additional certifications like MBA, CPA, CMA are preferred.
* At least 4 years of finance or related experience is required.
* Strong analytical skills, experience with SAP, and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) are necessary.
* Ability to collaborate across all organizational levels, including senior management, in a matrixed environment.
* Self-motivated, capable of working in ambiguity, and proactive in driving results.
