a Process Engineer (m/f/d) Pharma Engineering Solutions in the area of Development / Galenics (m/f/d)

Within the „Site Network Basel/Kaiseraugst“ organization, we work together with our stakeholders in the „Business Solutions“ cluster to develop customized solutions.
As a process engineer, you will work in the „Business Solutions“ cluster, specifically within the „Pharma Engineering Solutions“ team at the Basel/Kaiseraugst site. At this location, we are responsible for collaborative operational and project engineering.
You will also be responsible for the maintenance of existing and new pharmaceutical production facilities for commercial and clinical manufacturing, which are integrated into the Roche infrastructure. The process facilities you will be responsible for are highly automated and extensively networked with each other and with higher-level IT systems.
The ideal candidate has a technical background and a completed degree in a natural science. They have more than three years of professional experience in the design and operational engineering of pharmaceutical manufacturing plants and possess in-depth knowledge of GMP requirements as well as the process engineering aspects of process plants and package units in the field of sterile filling of liquid products.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Efficient and effective order/project processing and operational support in accordance with the processes relevant to the provision of services:
* Planning, qualification, and commissioning of pharmaceutical parenteral systems
* Creation, maintenance, review, and approval of project, plant, qualification, and HSE documentation (HSE = Safety, Health, and Environment)
* Implementation and assurance of state-of-the-art technology and compliance with regulatory and internal regulations/guidelines in the areas of HSE and GMP
* Evaluation, testing, and recommendation of new technologies in the field of parenteral processes
* Proactive support of customers in defining and initiating investment projects, including cost estimates and schedules
* Management of projects and orders, assuming responsibility for the technical solution, costs, and deadlines
Must-haves:
* Basic technical training with a completed degree in a natural science (university of applied sciences/technical university), e.g., process engineering/pharmaceutical engineering or similar
* At least 3 years of professional experience in the design and operational engineering of pharmaceutical plants
* Sound understanding of GMP and process engineering requirements for process plants and package units in the field of sterile filling of liquid products
* Willingness to work in an agile, self-organized work environment
* Very good German skills and good English skills are required
