Profil
We are looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to lead and grow commercial activity in Switzerland, selling materials and components used in production environments. This role combines team leadership with strong field presence: you will coach the sales team and personally engage key industrial customers across the country.
Responsibilities
* Set the commercial direction and translate strategy into clear priorities, targets and actions.
* Lead, motivate and develop the sales team (structure, coaching, performance management).
* Stay close to the market through regular customer visits and active account development.
* Build and expand relationships with production sites and key stakeholders (purchasing, operations, engineering, plant management).
* Drive complex negotiations and close deals with a strong focus on margin, quality and cost awareness.
* Improve sales execution: pipeline management, forecasting, reporting and cross-functional coordination.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in B2B industrial sales with measurable results.
* Solid background in leading sales teams (people development, coaching mindset, natural authority).
* Strong Swiss market exposure: you have already sold to manufacturing / production sites in Switzerland and understand how plants operate.
* Strategic thinker who acts pragmatically and delivers—solution-oriented, resilient, and customer-driven.
* Confident communicator who can credibly represent the business at all levels, from operational stakeholders to management.
Languages
* German + French, business fluent (negotiation level), or
* German + English, business fluent (negotiation level).
* (Additional languages are a plus.)
Travel
Within Switzerland.
