Job Description
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams of talented engineers to define, design, and develop new features for our next-generation applications. You will be responsible for designing and developing top-tier applications for the iOS platform, including unit testing for robustness, usability, and reliability. It is essential that you work efficiently and scalably while ensuring optimal performance.
Your key responsibilities
* Lead the development of iOS applications, writing high-performance, scalable, and reusable code
* Maintain and optimize the application codebase
* Design and implement updates, and optimize apps for performance and usability
* Implement new features and maintain existing functionalities
* Discuss and align best practices with team members
* Collaborate with colleagues to solve complex issues and find optimal solutions
* Work with designers and business analysts to clarify requirements
* Investigate performance issues to ensure quality and improve UI responsiveness
* Automate repetitive tasks through Continuous Integration to enhance efficiency
* Participate in code reviews and refinement sessions, sharing expertise
* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
* Contribute to cross-platform development using Kotlin Multiplatform or Kotlin/Java tech stack
This position can be based either in Zurich or Bioggio.
Qualifications
* Proven track record in iOS app development using multiple frameworks, Objective-C, and Swift
* Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or a strong background in Kotlin/Java
* Experience with continuous integration, clean code principles, and test-driven development (TDD)
* Proficiency with version control tools, iOS design principles, application interface guidelines, and backend services
* Ability to write readable, refactorable code and apply best practices
* Understanding of iOS SDK versions, libraries, APIs, and third-party integrations
* Experience with tools like SVN/Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Confluence, JIRA
