We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Business Developer for Raw Materials to expand our client's footprint across the European market.
You will be responsible for identifying trading opportunities, developing client relationships, and executing physical ethanol deals, focusing on industrial and fuel-grade applications.
Fluency in English and German is essential to operate effectively across key European markets.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop new business opportunities and build a strong client portfolio (industrial users, distributors).
* Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and delivery terms.
* Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and demand dynamics.
* Collaborate with logistics, legal, credit, and risk teams to ensure deal integrity.
* Attend industry events and maintain strong market intelligence.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in physical trading.
* Fluent in English and German (both oral and written); French is a plus.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation and business development skills.
* Familiar with trade documentation, logistics, and incoterms.
* University degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
* Willing to travel across Europe (about one week per month).
