Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IT Outsourcing Project Manager to lead the transition of a critical infrastructure service from an in-house setup to an external service provider within a Swiss banking environment. The role focuses on planning, governance, knowledge transfer, and risk management, rather than hands-on technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and structure the end-to-end IT outsourcing transition
* Coordinate knowledge transfer from internal SMEs to the external provider
* Define scope, milestones, governance model, and SLAs
* Manage risks, dependencies, and regulatory constraints
* Act as the main interface between internal stakeholders and the outsourcing partner
* Ensure controlled handover, parallel run, and service stabilization
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing IT outsourcing or service transition projects
* Strong background in vendor management and service governance
* Experience in regulated environments (banking or financial services preferred)
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Structured, delivery-focused project management approach
* Strong knowledge of English, French is a plus.
