The Hong Kong show features premier galleries from Asia and beyond. It provides an in-depth overview of Asia-Pacific's astonishing diversity, as well as global artistic perspectives through Modern and contemporary works.
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to oversee and lead all HR activities for our Hong Kong office, supporting approximately 35 full-time employees as well as seasonal temporary staff and interns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee all HR operations for MCH Group Asia Ltd (which includes Art Basel & Expomobilia employees)., ensuring full compliance with Hong Kong Employment Standards and alignment with global HR standards.
2. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation and probation management, performance reviews, and separation processes.
3. Drive recruitment activities, drafting job advertisements, coordinating interviews, preparing offers, and issuing employment contracts.
4. Act as the key HR business partner to management, providing guidance on people matters, employee relations, and performance management.
5. Serve as the primary liaison between global HR and the Hong Kong office to ensure consistency in HR policies and practices.
6. Oversee payroll administration in partnership with external service providers and ensure accuracy and timely processing.
7. Support annual salary review and bonus cycles in collaboration with global HR.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Hong Kong employment legislation, market practices, and compensation benchmarks.
9. Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of employee records, leave management, compensation data, and HR documentation.
10. Oversee employee benefits administration, including MPF, medical insurance, leave policies, and related vendor management.
11. Plan and manage the annual internship programme, including coordination with recruitment partners and performance feedback processes.
12. Support employee engagement initiatives and office-wide activities.
Profile:
13. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
14. Minimum 6–8 years of solid HR generalist experience, ideally within an international or matrix organisation.
15. Strong working knowledge of Hong Kong employment law and payroll administration.
16. Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle independently.
17. Strong business partnering capability with the confidence to advise senior stakeholders.
18. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
19. Excellent organisational skills and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
20. Strong written and spoken English; Cantonese or Mandarin would be an advantage.
