Your tasks
* Carry out research on the theory of angle‑resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES)
* Implement new methods and improve open‑source scientific software in the group
* Perform first‑principles simulations of ARPES for materials relevant to orbitronics
* Identify fingerprints of orbital angular momentum
* Identify promising materials for orbitronics applications
* Collaborate with experimental groups
* Support general research and teaching activities
Your profile
* PhD degree in Physics or a closely related field
* Strong background in theoretical condensed‑matter physics or related disciplines
* Basic knowledge of photoemission spectroscopy or related techniques
* Expertise in first‑principles simulations of materials based on DFT
* Good programming skills in Fortran and Python
* Good command of English and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with theoretical and experimental partners
