The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing Actylis' portfolio of excipients, APIs, and intermediates at new and existing customers, as well as expanding and advancing pipeline projects in assigned territories.
This role requires extensive travel within the assigned territory, with occasional global requirements. A valid passport is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow established accounts while developing new business opportunities.
* Expand and advance the sales pipeline by working closely with R&D, business development, purchasing, and operations teams.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
* Identify and qualify new sales opportunities, leveraging market insights and customer interactions.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Participate in customer Request for Quote (RFQ) processes and provide product quotations and pricing strategies.
* Negotiate pricing and contracts while ensuring profitability per quote.
* Address and resolve customer issues and complaints with support from Customer Service, Logistics, and Quality teams.
* Submit and maintain an accurate annual sales budget per account/territory.
A Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific disciplines is required. Minimum 5 to 10 years' experience in sales / business development of APIs, excipients, and intermediates to pharmaceutical manufacturers is preferred.
