Purpose Of Assignment

UNICEF is expanding its digital footprint and seeks a Digital Data Analyst to support a digital transformation journey aimed at increasing revenues and impact. This role supports the IG team in Geneva, responsible for a fundraising program delivering over one billion dollars in income annually. The Digital Data Analyst will implement and create a Retention Dashboard for the Email Marketing Salesforce team, develop ML models to tackle churn, and support the development of a marketing mix model for UNICEF IG.

Scope Of Work

The Digital Data Analyst is expected to:

* Act as a subject matter expert in data analytics and GCP/Salesforce data technologies for digital channels.
* Design and implement modern, scalable data solutions using Google Cloud Platform.
* Work within an Agile environment.
* Build and deliver data and reporting solutions using GCP products.

Key Responsibilities And Main Tasks

* Donors Dashboard: develop the BigQuery dataset, dashboard with Stripe data, and full CRM data coverage (touchpoints, journeys, demographics) to gain insights into donor behavior and optimize fundraising.
* Full Email Dashboard – Journey Accelerator: integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud and deliver a BigQuery dataset and dashboard to monitor email campaign performance.
* Cash to Pledge / LTV ML Model Development: build features, train and enhance an ML model for LTV and pledge uplift; identify at-risk customers.
* Meridyan MMM Project: develop reusable model pipelines for markets and implement the Meridyan MMM model piloted in Germany.
* Drive Digital Analytics Maturity: own analytics roadmap for marketing, retention, and customer journeys; use data to identify trends and opportunities.
* Collaborate Across Departments: work with Local IG team, Virtual Hub, and Retention teams to refine data requirements and consumption needs.
* Capacity Build and Train: propose data ingestion and operationalization techniques; upskill internal teams on Google Marketing Hub Platform.

Deliverables / Key Activities

1. Deliverable 1 by end September 2025 – Donors Dashboard for Virtual Hub and International Markets: one functional BigQuery dataset combining Stripe and CRM data; partial coverage dashboard with Stripe data and initial donor insights.
2. Deliverable 2 by end October 2025 – Donors Dashboard full coverage: CRM data integration for touchpoints, journeys, demographics; establish data integration dashboard.
3. Deliverable 3 by end October 2025 – Full Email Dashboard for Journey Accelerator: comprehensive BigQuery dataset from Salesforce Marketing Cloud; campaign performance dashboard.
4. Deliverable 4 by end November 2025 – Donors Dashboard insights report and Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration.
5. Deliverable 5 by end November 2025 – Data Visualization and Email Marketing optimization reports.
6. Deliverable 6 by end December 2025 – Churn ML Model: develop, evaluate, and prepare a churn prediction model.
7. Deliverable 7 by end January 2026 – Implement churn prediction model into systems.
8. Deliverable 8 by end March 2026 – Lightweight MMM: reusable market pipeline and pilot MMM implementation.
9. Deliverable 9 by end May 2026 – MMM model performance evaluation and reporting.
10. Deliverable 10 by end June 2026 – Drive analytics maturity: audience segmentation and data-driven strategies.
11. Deliverable 11 by end July 2026 – Data requirements collaboration and recommendations report.
12. Deliverable 12 by end August 2026 – Education: training materials and minimum 3 training sessions per year.

Travel

* There may be travel as needed; travel costs are not included in lump-sum fees.

Qualifications

* Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, IT, or related field is preferred; or a first-level degree plus 2 years relevant experience.
* Experience: minimum 5 years in data and analytics; cloud technologies, especially Google BigQuery; strong SQL; experience building analytics dashboards and using data to optimize campaigns.
* Languages: English fluency required; knowledge of another UN official language is an asset.
* Others: willingness to learn new technologies; ability to explain data solutions to non-technical colleagues.
