Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer / Architect to join our ICT Engineering & Operations team. Our diverse and skilled team is already looking forward to welcoming your support. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust ICT architectures Further develop our hybrid IT landscape (OnPrem & Cloud) and support the definition of standards, guidelines, and strategic topics Identify areas for optimization and further develop automated solutions using PowerShell Ensure a stable and high-performance server infrastructure Troubleshooting and providing 2nd-/3rd-level support for server infrastructure Manage and optimize storage solutions Create and maintain technical documentation; train users and IT colleagues University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification Solid knowledge in administration and configuration of server environments Experience with backup solutions (Veeam) Experience with PowerShell scripting Proficient in Windows operating systems (Windows Server), including administration and security Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies (GPOs), Entra ID, and Microsoft Azure Basic understanding of network architectures, VPN, and security concepts Proficiency in both German and English is required ) Softskills Analytical and solution-oriented mindset High level of initiative and ability to work independently Strong team player with a collaborative attitude in interdisciplinary teams Customer- and service-oriented approach Structured working style and strong documentation skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics in an understandable way Willingness to continuously learn and openness to new technologies s We offer you An open and collegial corporate culture Room for ideas Participation in sports and leisure activities Support through further training, especially at our SKAN Academy Intensive and job-orientated induction training Short decision-making processes and flat hierarchies 5 weeks holiday and the possibility of additional days off Additional Information To apply, please upload your complete application documents (CV, diplomas, and work certificates) on our careers page.
